Senior Insurance Rate & Form Analyst
This Senior Analyst position reports to the Board's General Counsel and is responsible for managing the Green Mountain Care Board Rate Review Program. The Analyst provides analysis and recommendations to the Board and its staff relating to health insurance rate review, as well as hospital budget review and health care payment and delivery system reform initiatives. Work includes but is not limited to reviewing rate filings for Individual, Small Group, and Large Group insurance products, advising the Green Mountain Care Board regarding these filings, participating in the drafting of administrative decisions, assisting with the legislative process, presenting at public Board meetings, and participating in the development of public policy. Data & Reporting Coordinator
The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) seeks an entry-level analyst for their Data and Analytical team who will be primarily dedicated to working with the Vermont Uniform Hospital Discharge Data System (VUHDDS), a rich data resource stewarded by the GMCB and made available to state and external users. The Analyst is responsible for maintaining and reproducing standard reports on health care utilization and hospital market share based on VUHDDS. The position is expected to collaboratively gather requirements and then query data for the development of analyses - both recurring and ad hoc. This role is part data operations for VUHDDS as well. Some data operations tasks may include running QA checks on new extracts to the data warehouse, providing contract support, and assisting with documentation for any changes affecting data users.
