Community Engagement to Support Hospital Transformation

In 2022, the legislature passed Act 167 (of 2022) which called for healthcare delivery reform in the state of Vermont. A central part of this legislation is developing community- and data- informed options to transform Vermont’s healthcare system that improve access, affordability, quality, and sustainability.

After two rounds of robust community engagement (October-November 2023; July-August 2024) and a period of data analysis (December-May 2024), findings and options for health system transformation has been finalized. The detailed report containing these options can be found here. (revised 10/21/2024)
